The MEW Mittelständische Energiewirtschaft Deutschland e.V. is the voice of the independent petroleum and energy industry in Germany. Founded in 1971, it has represented the seamless supply of liquid energy sources in Germany for over 50 years. The MEW is an umbrella organization and has as members the four sub-associations:
The sub-associations in turn form the entrepreneurial membership, medium-sized structured companies from the respective field of activity of the sub-associations. The MEW acts as a strong, united voice for the entire supply chain. The aim and guiding principle of the MEW is to maintain security of supply in Germany and at the same time to contribute to making the transport and heating sector climate-friendly.
