Presentation of the first session

On January 23, 2023, the 20th International Conference on Renewable Mobility "Fuels of the Future" will open its doors in the CityCube Berlin. Artur Auernhammer, BBE Chairman of the Board, opens the two-day congress after a two-year Corona-related break in attendance. Oliver Luksic, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport, follows with the first presentation and is dedicated to the framework conditions for innovation and sustainability around renewable fuels and alternative drives. Norbert Lins, Member of the European Parliament, deals with the question "Breakthrough in EU legislation for the energy transition in transport?". Recommendations of the expert advisory board "Climate change mitigation in mobility for development of renewable fuels" will be given by Prof. Dr. Meike Jipp of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). John Cooper from FuelsEurope will go into more detail on the requirements for energy security in the transport sector.
