Christmas Greetings - International Conference "Fuels of the Future 2024" on 22 & 23 January 2024 in Berlin

2023 was another very eventful year in which the issues of a sustainable energy supply and global climate protection were of the utmost importance. Finding innovative and sustainable ways for our mobility of the future is and remains one of the key challenges facing society. In view of the many conflicts, crises and economic problems, we must not allow ourselves to be distracted from our goals such as climate protection, sustainability, CO2 reduction and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels.

The future of climate protection in transport

21st International Conference on Renewable Mobility: Berlin panel for expert exchange Berlin, 14.12.2023: The necessary political framework conditions for global climate protection are currently being negotiated both nationally and internationally. Due to a lack of greenhouse gas reductions, the focus is particularly on the transport sector. Given this background, participants at the 21st International Conference on Renewable Mobility – Navigator for sustainable Mobility - on 22nd and 23rd January 2024 in Berlin will discuss tangible solutions and innovation developments for the defossilisation of transport.

Presentation of Parallel Session 6A-D

Green hydrogen, renewable fuels in heavy goods and freight transport, in aviation and in agriculture and forestry are key topics for a holistic transition to sustainable mobility. These topics will be addressed in the parallel sessions of Session 6. On Tuesday, January 23, the second day of the 21st International Conference "Fuels of the Future", four parallel sessions from 14:30 to 16:30 will deal with issues relating to research and the use of various alternative fuels.

Presentation of Parallel Session 5A-D

Biofuels in fuel research, biomethane as a fuel, biofuels in shipping and the production of biofuels from waste and residual materials are important fields for future-proof mobility. These topics will be addressed in the parallel sessions of Session 5. On Tuesday, January 23, the second day of the 21st International Conference "Fuels of the Future", four parallel sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will deal with issues relating to research and the use of various alternative fuels. Representatives from research, industry and the ministries will have their say, as will the participants, for whom there will of course be opportunities for questions and discussions.

Presentation of Parallel Session 4A-D

Biofuels, e-fuels or advanced alternative fuels - there are many ways to make engines and therefore also transport environmentally friendly. The parallel sessions of Session 4 will also revolve around this question. On Tuesday, 23 January, the second day of the 21st International Conference "Fuels of the Future", four parallel sessions from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. will deal with questions relating to various alternative fuels. Representatives from research, industry and the ministries will have their say, as well as the participants, who will of course have the opportunity to ask questions and take part in discussions.
